Practical life

We take great care to do housework also called "practical life". Household work increases the independence of the children. Children in this age find it fun to help and feel a responsibility towards their environment. In addition, these exercises are very good for the fine and gross motor skills development.

Our kitchen is specially designed so that the children can help cook. The children are actively involved in kitchen work.
They help to prepare the lunch and snack. This ensures that the children know exactly what is in their food but also what it looks like cooked and uncooked. Plus, it tastes much nicer because they have helped to create it.

In addition, the children will have their own vegetable garden where they are responsible for fruit, vegetables and flowers  grown in their gardens. The teacher will help coordinate care and harvesting of the gardens.
